Interested in leadership?
The Razor’s Edge Leadership Series is being offered for the first time in Centerville beginning this fall. The series is designed for young professionals who are interested in learning more about some of the basic tenants of leadership.
Participants will meet from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on the second Thursday of the month from October through April on Indian Hills’ Centerville Campus. The first session will be on Oct. 10.
A variety of leadership topics will be discussed, including: what makes a person a leader, leadership styles, what motivates people, leading across generations and leading through change. In addition, participants will spend the first session learning about some of the specific leadership challenges being faced in our region.
The cost to participate in the program is $350, which includes the cost of lunch and speaker fees for seven sessions as well as a book used in group discussion. The class, limited to 30 persons, is being filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Indian Hills requests that participants be in the early stages of their career and approximately age 21-35, be able to commit to making all meetings (participants who miss more than two sessions will not graduate from the program) and live in the 10-county Indian Hills service area.
