The ninth annual Children’s Arts Festival will be held Saturday, June 29. There will be tons of fun things for kids to do on the square from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. that day, such as jumping tents, crafts you can make yourself, mural painting, a puppet show, storytelling, entertainment in the band shell and much more.
The local Rotary Club will have a food stand to help you quench your thirst and slake your hunger.
As part of the festival, the Missoula Children’s Theater Company will be producing and presenting “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” at the Simon Estes Auditorium that same day at 4 p.m. This production uses local children who auditioned for the play on June 24.
Ticket prices for the play are $7.50 for adults and $5 for children. The Children’s Arts Festival is sponsored by the Appanoose County Historic Preservation Committee.
