---- — Respite Care Services is now accepting names for the 2013 holiday season.
For a $5 donation, members of the community are invited to add the name of a loved one to the tree of lights list. Your donation will further Respite services in Appanoose County and your light will celebrate the life of a loved one passed away. This year names will be read on KCOG at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14 and they can be heard again at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19. In addition, names will be in the Iowegian on Friday, Dec. 20. Respite has had the memorial list for Appanoose County for the last 23 years.
Donation cards are available at Centerville Chamber, Iowa Trust & Savings Bank, 18-80 Club, Mercy Medical Center, Mercy Medical Clinic and Appanoose Community Care Services in Centerville. Donation cards are also available at the Moulton Community Center and Success Bank in Moulton or by contacting the Rev. Reggie Higginbottom at the Moulton Christian Church.
Names and donations can also be mailed to Respite Care Services, 19890 St. Joseph’s Drive, Centerville, Iowa 52544.
Respite Care Services has provided many hours of relief to caregivers and companionship for the homebound in Appanoose County since 1991.
