---- — Three Appanoose County residents, two with prior criminal histories, were arrested recently in Lancaster, Mo.

Benjamin D. Godby, 24, of Moravia, Travis Blake McClure, 28, of Centerville and Amanda L. White, 35, of Centerville were arrested on drug related charges with four other Missouri residents Oct. 4.

The story originally reported Oct. 10 by the Schuyler County Times states the three Appanoose County defendants were charged “with several counts of felony” and were in custody under a cash only bail.

The case was initiated by a search warrant of the residence of Vernon L. Bone, 54, of Lancaster where items including marijuana and methamphetamine were seized.

Godby in Appanoose County on Oct. 2, 2009 was sentenced to 180 days in prison for one count of possession of a controlled substance and five years in prison for one count of controlled substance violation. Both prison terms were suspended to probation.

Godby was found guilty of violating terms of his probation four times with the last one on Nov. 7, 2011 where Judge Kirk A. Daily revoked Godby’s probation and imposed the original prison sentences of 180 days and five years.

Godby still owes Appanoose County $11,554.51 for that criminal case.

McClure had one felony case, third degree burglary, amended down to a simple misdemeanor in 2004 and numerous other simple misdemeanor convictions like trespass, public intoxication and disorderly conduct in Appanoose County.
