---- — The Centerville Community School District Board of Education Friday, Jan. 31 during a special meeting that started at 4 p.m. in the administration building accepted one retirement, received an insurance payment for the recent fire and made the final payment to the company in charge of the cleanup due to the fire.
The board voted unanimously to make the final payment in the amount of $207,000 to L.J. Roth Restoration Service for the cleanup of the high school following the fire on Thursday, Jan 9.
The board voted unanimously to accept a $181,000 revenue payment from insurer EMC Inc. Co. for the school fire.
The board unanimously accepted the retirement of Stephen Miller effective Jan. 29 after 14 years of service to the school district.
