College, housing agency and local businesses team up to build house

CENTERVILLE — Tuesday, March 19 Chariton Valley Regional Housing Trust Fund began new home construction at 1113 S. 15th in Centerville. The Indian Hills Building Trades program under the instruction of Mark Walsh is building the three bedroom, two bath home. CVRHTF is also partnering with Lockridge Lumber, Cicco Construction, CornerHart Electric, Evers Construction, Craver Law Firm, Fogle Construction, Ideal Ready Mix, Cossolotto Ready Mix and Drysdale Comfort Systems during the construction process. CVRHTF is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) with a primary purpose of providing home improvements and repairs to low and moderate income homeowners in the counties of Appanoose, Lucas, Monroe and Wayne.
