IOWA CITY —
Congressman Dave Loebsack will bring his “100% of Iowa Tour” to Centerville on Friday, Nov. 2.
This event will highlight comments made by John Archer that 50 percent of Americans are a weakness because they are seniors, veterans, or a person living with a disability. Iowans who have paid into Social Security and Medicare or have served their country will join Loebsack at each stop.
“When you are elected to office you are supposed to fight 100 percent of the time for 100 percent of the people, and not write off 50 percent of the population. I see these people as a strength, certainly not a weakness. In Iowa, we believe in honoring our commitments to those who served our country, paid into Social Security, and who have worked hard to succeed,” said Loebsack.
The “100% of Iowa Tour”will be in Appanoose County in Centerville at 9 a.m. at Tangleberries at 104 W. Jackson St. on Friday, Nov. 2.
