---- — The Memorial Day service in Numa will be held at 11a.m. Sunday, May 26 at the Numa Cemetery. A musical prelude will be performed. Taps will be played and the Gettysburg address will be recited. Pastor Kay Singley will be the main speaker. After the service, a potluck dinner will be served at noon at the Numa Community Center. Bring a salad or dessert. There is no charge for the meal, but donations are welcome.

The Memorial Day service in Unionville, Iowa will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday, May 27 at the Unionville Cemetery. Come and remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice on this most sober of American patriotic holidays.

The Light of Life Church in Moravia is hosting a Memorial Day church service on Sunday, May 26 in the Moravia city park at 10 a.m. followed by food, music, fun, games and fellowship. This service is to honor all military who have given the ultimate sacrifice, as well as all those who have served and continue to serve. Help us honor those who so selflessly protect our freedom.
