26 area students receive IHCC Foundation Scholarships

OTTUMWA — Twenty-six Centerville area residents have been awarded Indian Hills Community College Scholarships for the 2008-2009 academic year.
Sheila Aldrich, the daughter of Marvin Aldrich, was awarded an IHCC Foundation Enid Helen Coulter Estate Scholarship. She is a 2008 graduate of Centerville High School and is a student in the Arts and Sciences program on the Ottumwa campus.
Amanda Baker, the daughter of Paul and Lisa Baker, was awarded an IHCC Foundation Rosenman Valedictorian Scholarship. She is a 2008 graduate of Centerville High School and is a student in the Practical Nursing program on the Centerville campus.
Kyle Berry, the son of Randy and Mona Berry, was awarded an IHCC Foundation General Fund Scholarship. He is a 2007 graduate of Centerville High School and is a student in the Arts and Sciences program on the Centerville campus.
Peggy Bullard was awarded an IHCC Foundation Nursing Graduates Scholarship. She is a 1980 GED graduate and is a student in the Associate Degree Nursing program on the Ottumwa campus.
Logan Conrad, the son of Chris and Laura Conrad, was awarded an IHCC Foundation Rosenman Scholarship. He is a 2007 graduate of Centerville High School and is a student in the Arts and Sciences program on the Centerville campus.
Chanda Engle, the daughter of Don and Mary Jo Engle, was awarded an IHCC Foundation Rosenman Valedictorian Scholarship. She is a 2007 graduate of Centerville High School and is a student in the Arts and Sciences program on the Centerville campus.
Benjamen Foglesong, the son of Phil and Marcia Foglesong, was awarded an IHCC Foundation Stan Cooper Scholarship. He is a 2007 graduate of Centerville High School and is a student in the Arts and Sciences program on the Centerville campus.
Deara Hinton, the daughter of Joel and Nancy Hinton, was awarded an IHCC Foundation John M. and Hannah L. Roland Perpetual Scholarship. She is a 2007 graduate of Centerville High School and is a student in the Practical Nursing program on the Centerville campus.
Tecia Husten, the daughter of Ruth Husted, was awarded an IHCC Foundation General Fund Scholarship. She is a 2008 graduate of Centerville High School and is a student in the Health Unit Coordinator program on the Centerville campus.
Karen Jones was awarded an IHCC Foundation Stan Cooper Scholarship. She is a 2007 graduate of Centerville High School and is a student in the Arts and Sciences program on the Centerville campus.
Veronica Keel, the daughter of Linda Hesler, was awarded an IHCC Foundation HELP II Scholarship. She is a 2008 graduate of Centerville High School and is a student in the Administrative Assistant program on the Centerville campus.
Heather Kirkland was awarded an IHCC Foundation Julie Cardani Memorial Scholarship. She is a 1998 graduate of Seymour High School and is a student in the Associate Degree Nursing program on the Ottumwa campus.
Timothy Larson, the son of Steve and Denise Larson, was awarded an IHCC Foundation Chorus Scholarship. He is a 2008 graduate of Wayne Community High School and is a student in the Arts and Sciences program on the Ottumwa campus.
Stephanie Lindsey was awarded an IHCC Foundation Julie Cardani Memorial Scholarship. She is a 1994 GED graduate and is a student in the Associate Degree Nursing program on the Ottumwa campus.
Justin Mall, the son of Jerry and Julie Mall, was awarded an IHCC Foundation Chorus Scholarship. He is a 2008 graduate of Centerville High School and is a student in the Arts and Sciences program on the Ottumwa campus.
Beth Ann Marsh was awarded an IHCC Foundation Continuing Opportunity Scholarship. She is a 1992 graduate of Spooner High School and is a student in the Drafting/Virtual Reality program on the Centerville campus.
Juanita McGrann, the daughter of Jack and Shelly McGrann, was awarded an IHCC Foundation Daryl Beavers Memorial Scholarship. She is a 2007 graduate of Centerville High School and is a student in the Associate Degree Nursing program on the Ottumwa campus.
Trent McQueen, the son of Joseph McQueen, was awarded an IHCC Foundation John M. and Hannah L. Roland Perpetual Scholarship. He is a 1988 graduate of Central High School and is a student in the Practical Nursing program on the Centerville campus.
Terri Oden was awarded an IHCC Foundation Nursing Graduates Scholarship. She is a 1974 graduate of Centerville High School and is a student in the Associate Degree Nursing program on the Ottumwa campus.
Bridgette Richmond, the daughter of Rodney and Karen Richmond, was awarded an IHCC Foundation Paul and Marguerite Forney Perpetual Scholarship. She is a 2008 graduate of Centerville High School and is a student in the Arts and Sciences program on the Centerville campus.
Taylor Royer, the son of Jeff and Brenda Royer, was awarded an IHCC Foundation Stan Cooper Scholarship. He is a 2007 graduate of Centerville High School and is a student in the Drafting/Virtual Reality program on the Centerville campus.
Michelle Russell, the daughter of Bruce and Deanna Russell, was awarded an IHCC Foundation Rosenman Valedictorian Scholarship. She is a 2008 graduate of Centerville High School and is a student in the Arts and Sciences program on the Centerville campus.
Aryon Shondel was awarded an IHCC Foundation Drafting/Virtual Reality Scholarship. He is a 2008 graduate of Centerville High School and is a student in the Drafting/ Virtual Reality program on the Centerville campus.
Owen Stickler, the son of Rodney Stickler, was awarded an IHCC Foundation Drafting/Virtual Reality Scholarship. He is a 2008 graduate of Centerville High School and a student in the Drafting/Virtual Reality program on the Centerville campus.
Kayla Thorne, the daughter of Tammy Laehn and Mark Laehn, was awarded an IHCC Foundation John M. and Hannah L. Roland Perpetual Scholarship. She is a 2008 graduate of Centerville High School and is a student in the Arts and Sciences program on the Centerville campus.
Samantha Whitaker, the daughter of Larry and Winona Whitaker, was awarded an IHCC Foundation Rosenman Valedictorian Scholarship. She is a 2007 GED graduate and is a student in the Arts and Sciences program on the Centerville campus.
The IHCC Foundation was created with the goal of providing scholarships to help deserving students enhance their lives through college education. Since 1975, nearly 14,023 students have been awarded more than $8.5 million. .Last year, 544 students received $972,085 in scholarships from the IHCC Foundation.
