Reports of a robbery at R&R Sales on South 18th Street in Centerville turned out to be untrue. Police Chief Dan Howington said Monday that a call of an armed robbery received at 1:30 p.m. was actually not a robbery. An employee, Nicole Renee Walker, 20, of Centerville was charged with making a false report to a public safety agency ( a serious misdemeanor) and fifth degree theft (a simple misdemeanor).
