Appanoose County Sheriff to host press conference Monday

— The Appanoose County Sheriff will host a brief press conference on Monday, May 12, 2008 at 3:30 p.m. The press conference will be held in the Courtroom, 3rd floor of the Appanoose County Courthouse.

The Deatsch family will be present and may offer a brief statement. The intention of the press conference is to update the amount of reward being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for the death of Elmer "Chuck" Deatsch and to provide the Deatsch family an opportunity to make an appeal to the public and/or person(s) involved to come forward.
