Syria?

By Michael Schaffer
Managing Editor

---- — The Daily Iowegian will publish an Editorial Question of the Week on the Opinion page.

The Iowegian wants readers to think about Syria. What should the United States do in light of the allegations Syria used chemical weapons on its own people.

Should we stay out of it? Should we have some type of military response?

So, the question of the week is, “What should the U.S. do in relation to the situation in Syria?”

Go to the Daily Iowegian website, www.dailyiowegian.com, and scroll down the home page to POLL on the right hand side and cast your vote. Or call the Iowegian office at (641) 856-6336 or email the editor at iowegianeditor@mchsi.com to cast a vote.

Vote on the Question of the Week up until Wednesday, Sept. 4 at 12 p.m. The results will be published in the Thursday, Sept. 5 paper along with a new question.

Here are the results from the last poll question: “Did the rodeo clown’s act go too far or was it harmless theater?”

A. Clown’s act went too far received 51 votes.

B. It was harmless theater received 153 votes.
