Positive people make good things happen

The Daily Iowegian

---- — Positive people make good things happen

Dear Editor,

Friday night we attended Centerville’s Big Red Pride. It was a great night seeing positive thinking people talking about great expectations. We heard people talking about positive achievements from our athletes. We heard students and coaches talking positively about the new school year with expectations of great things to follow. I heard about some people who saw a need to replace the old football uniforms. Funds were raised and Friday night we will see our Big Reds wearing new uniforms. Some people saw a need to replace the aging band uniforms. Funds were raised and in the near future we will be seeing our band wearing new uniforms.

Some people saw a need for a new sound system in the Simon Estes Auditorium. Funds were raised and a new system is currently being installed.

And how about our Appanoose County All Stars. They have made our county proud. A great bunch of kids and thanks to all the coaches and volunteers that made great things happen.

Centerville is getting a new Freedom Rock because positive thinking people saw a need and made it happen.

The Garden Club volunteers desiring to beautify the city maintain flower pots around the square and the Levee.

Some Centerville businesses are expanding because positive thinking people saw a need and made it happen.

Soon Centerville will be hosting another Pancake Day entertaining thousands of people. It will happen because many positive thinking volunteers will make it happen.

The list could go on. Thank you Centerville for the positive thinking people that make good things happen.
