---- — The Daily Iowegian will publish an Editorial Question of the Week on the Opinion page.
The Iowegian wants readers to think about political popularity in Washington, D.C.? A recent AP-GfK poll states “about seven in 10 view the Republican Party and the tea party movement unfavorably, while about half have an unfavorable view of the president and his Democratic Party.”
What would readers of the Daily Iowegian say to that poll? Well, here’s your opportunity.
So, the question of the week is, “Where do you stand? Do you view the Republican Party and tea party movement unfavorably or do you view the president and the Democratic Party unfavorably?”
Go to the Daily Iowegian website, www.dailyiowegian.com, and scroll down the home page to POLL on the right hand side and cast your vote. Or call the Iowegian office at (641) 856-6336 or email the editor at firstname.lastname@example.org to cast a vote.
Vote on the Question of the Week up until Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 12 p.m. The results will be published in the Thursday, Oct. 24 paper along with a new question.
Here are the results from the last poll question: “Who do you blame for the federal government shutdown?”
A. Both Democrats and Republicans received 99 votes.
B. Just Republicans received 60 votes.
C. Just Democrats received 63 votes.
D. Not sure where the blame goes received seven votes.
