The Daily Iowegian will publish an Editorial Question of the Week on the Opinion page.
The Iowegian wants readers to think about marijuana use by the general public. Poll respondents overwhelmingly said medicinal marijuana should be available in Iowa. But what about non-medicinal use of marijuana? Like what the states of Colorado and Oregon are now allowing. Should Iowa join that list and allow the sale of marijuana to the general public?
So, the question of the week is, “Should Iowa join Colorado and Oregon and allow the sale of marijuana for use by the general public?”
Go to the Daily Iowegian website, www.dailyiowegian.com, and scroll down the home page to POLL on the right hand side and cast your vote. Or call the Iowegian office at (641) 856-6336 or email the editor at firstname.lastname@example.org to cast a vote.
Vote on the Question of the Week up until Wednesday, March 26 at 12 p.m. The results will be published in the Thursday, March 27 paper along with a new question.
Here are the results from the last poll question: “Should medicinal marijuana be available in Iowa?”
