Thanks for fire protection

— To the editor:
This is a letter to give thanks to all of the local firefighters from Mystic and Centerville for protecting our home, along with all of the other homes in the area. The grass fire in Mystic had potential to destroy many homes in the area and because of our local firefighters it was stopped in time. These folks worked their behinds off to get this fire under control and ensure that no other homes were affected by this large fire. They responded quickly and worked very hard to keep this fire from reaching our new home and other buildings and we thank you very much for all of your great efforts. Thank you Phil, Kathy, Justin, Jeremy, Dave, Daniel, Doug, George, Wade, Vern, Jeremy, and all of the others that I either didn’t know your name or I didn’t get to see you because you was fighting the fire on the other side of the field. Once again, thank you to all and keep up the good work.
