---- — The Franklin Farmhands met at 7:30 on Sept. 25 for their regular 4-H meeting. The meeting was called to order by Cendra Sebolt.
New members were Maddie Keller, Thayda Houser and Cori Powders.
The pledge to the American Flag was led by Paige Heesch. Luke Merritt led the pledge to the 4-H flag.
Records books were due on Sept. 15 for intermediates and seniors. Junior record books are due Sept. 30 to the extension office. Premium and sale checks need to be picked up from the extension office.
On Oct. 12 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. there will be a Fun Day at the Extension Office to promote 4-H and clubs for new and existing members. 4-H week will be Oct. 6-12.
Online enrollment needs to be completed for each member. We filled out our new books for the year completing talks and meetings.
Our next meeting will be Oct. 13 at 2:30 p.m. at Promise City to do the Adopt-A-Highway trash pickup. Everyone will bring a snack food to share and the club will provide drinks.
Snacks were brought by Cendra Sebolt, Colton McGill and Luke Merritt.
New officers will be elected at the November meeting.
