Connie Wright, a first-time vendor at the Centerville Farmer’s Market on the square, offered some of her home grown cherries for pies at Saturday’s session, sorted into bags for 8-inch pies. She plans to bring green onions and salad greens next week. Eventually, Wright will be bringing naturally raised poultry and eggs to sell. The Centerville Farmer’s Market is open Wednesdays from 4 to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 to 10 a.m. Among the items brought by vendors last Saturday were strawberries, pies, cookies, sweet rolls and leather and wood crafts. Later in the season, sweet corn and other produce will be available.
