Published March 25, 2008 12:52 pm - Moulton-Udell FFA competes in CDE’s The Moulton-Udell FFA Chapter attended the Sub-District FFA Convention on Feb. 13 at Wayne Community Schools. Fifteen members participated in various Career Development Events (CDE’s). Brettany Sebolt represented the M-U FFA chapter in Freshman Creed Speaking. She received silver. Kim Clayworth, Nate Fletcher, Kassi Guinn, Alyson Hoover, Mickie McKinley, Clinton Scott, and Rebecca Steen were members of the Conduct of Meetings Team. They received a silver placing. Chapter Quiz Team members were Mackenzie Clark, Chelsey Harris, and Autumn Salladay. Kelsi Guinn, Brandie Lawson, and Olivia Smith participated in the Chapter Program Event and received a gold ranking receiving alternate to districts. Jody Korthaus participated in Job Interview and received a gold ranking and advanced to District competition.
South-Central FFA District Convention was held March 8 at Centerville High School. Moulton-Udell had three members attend Districts. Jody Korthaus participated in the Job Interview Event and received a gold placing advancing to state competition at the Iowa FFA Leadership Conference in Ames on April 14. Jacob Campbell and Sharena Kaster represented the Moulton-Udell FFA Chapter as delegates during the business session.
