Crowell, Marcussen announce engagement

Tatum Crowell, daughter of Punki and Margie Crowell of Centerville, and Randy Marcussen, son of Jo Marcussen and the late Robert Marcussen of Waverly, are engaged. The engagement took place in August 2005, in Newport Beach, Calif.

Tatum graduated from Centerville High School in 1998. She attended Iowa State University and graduated with a bachelor of fine arts degree in interior design in May 2002. She is also a recent graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a bachelor of arts degree in art education.

Randy graduated from Waverly - Shell Rock High School in 1994. He attended the University of Northern Iowa and graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in art education in December 1999. Randy taught art in the Cedar Falls Community Schools for six years and recently accepted a high school art position at Liberty High School in Liberty, Mo.

Grandparents of the couple are Helen Sacco and the late John Sacco, the late Don and Mary Crowell, all of Centerville, Dale and Helen Wilcox of Waterloo, and the late Alfred and Bodil Marcussen of Cedar Falls.

The couple is planning an Oct. 28 wedding to be held at the Beck Mansion in Centerville.
