Bakery mix-up goes viral after cat drawn on girl's head

A photo of one graduate's cake has gone viral on Reddit due to a bakery mix up that left a cat, instead of a cap, drawn on her head.

Wesh.com reported that 22-year-old Indiana University graduate Laura Gambrel's mother ordered the cake, requesting that a photo of Gambrel feature a cap on her head.

The bakery misheard and instead drew a little black cat in frosting on top of Gambrel's head.

"My mom ordered a graduation cake with a cap drawn on. I guess they misheard," Gambrel wrote on her post on Reddit.

"When I went to pick it up at the store, I could not stop laughing," Gambrel's mother, Carol Gambrel, 59, told Good Morning America. "I told them not to scrape it off."
