The Daily Iowegian will publish an Editorial Question of the Week on the Opinion page.
The Iowegian wants readers to think about the Affordable Care Act, also known as ObamaCare, and how, if any, has it impacted you or your family.
The ACA was touted as a way to reduce a family’s premium by as much as $2,500 a year. Other selling points were you would be able to keep your doctor and keep the health care plan you currently have. Now, the American public is finding out that none of the selling points are true. People are losing their plan, losing their doctor and costs are higher, not lower.
So, the question of the week is, “Have you tried to enroll in ObamaCare only to be told you would lose your plan? Lose your doctor? Have to pay more?”
Go to the Daily Iowegian website, www.dailyiowegian.com, and scroll down the home page to POLL on the right hand side and cast your vote. Or call the Iowegian office at (641) 856-6336 or email the editor at email@example.com to cast a vote.
Vote on the Question of the Week up until Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 12 p.m. The results will be published in the Thursday, Nov. 7 paper along with a new question.
Here are the results from the last poll question: “How will you vote on Public Measure A?”
A. I will vote to keep the board of trustees received 49 votes.
B. I will vote to eliminate the board of trustees received 55 votes.
