Purchase former Armory?

The Daily Iowegian will publish an Editorial Question of the Week on the Opinion page.

The Iowegian wants readers to think about the Centerville City Council’s recent decision to purchase the former Iowa Army National Guard Armory building on Dewey Road. Good or bad idea?

So, the question of the week is, “Are you in favor or against the city’s purchase of the former Iowa Army National Guard Armory?”

Go to the Daily Iowegian website, www.dailyiowegian.com, and scroll down the home page to POLL on the right hand side and cast your vote. Or call the Iowegian office at (641) 856-6336 or email the editor at iowegianeditor@mchsi.com to cast a vote.

Vote on the Question of the Week up until Wednesday, May 14 at 12 p.m. The results will be published in the Thursday, May 15 paper along with a new question.

A. I plan to vacation outside the U.S. received 12 votes.

B. I plan to vacation outside Iowa received 42 votes.

C. I plan to “staycation” here locally received 14 votes.
