Criticism deserved?

The Daily Iowegian will publish an Editorial Question of the Week on the Opinion page.

Exline native Morgan Cline recently opened Morgan’s Ice Cream Parlor and Candy Confectionery on the east side of the Centerville Square.

And already one person has submitted a letter to the editor defending Morgan Cline and his business against an Internet post on the Daily Iowegian website. See the letter to the editor submitted by Bill McAfee published in the Thursday, Oct. 3 Daily Iowegian.

So, the question of the week is, “Do you believe Morgan Cline deserves criticism or praise for starting this business on the Centerville Square?”

Go to the Daily Iowegian website, www.dailyiowegian.com, and scroll down the home page to POLL on the right hand side and cast your vote. Or call the Iowegian office at (641) 856-6336 or email the editor at iowegianeditor@mchsi.com to cast a vote.

Vote on the Question of the Week up until Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 12 p.m. The results will be published in the Thursday, Oct. 10 paper along with a new question.

Here are the results from the last poll question: “If the federal government is shutdown, will it have any affect on you?”

A. No received 83 votes.

B. Yes received 44 votes.

C. I’m not sure received 13 votes.
