The family of Olive Tomlin would like to publicly acknowledge the outstanding care Golden Age Manor Care staff gave our mother for the four years she lived there. They let her know daily how much she was loved and cared for. If our family had not had full confidence in the facility we would have moved her to another facility. We also want to acknowledge the nurses that work in the Mercy Hospice room. The use of the room was invaluable when our family gathered to say good-by to our mother and grandmother. We feel fortunate to have two outstanding facilities serving our aging community.
The care started with the ER doctor who called personally to give updates about her status and continued to the Radiology department. The radiologist showed concern enough to come to her room to check on her status. The care continued with Dr. Kathy Lange and Dr. David Fraser. They were competent and made certain our mother was comfortable at the end of her life. Each of the nurses that cared for her was very kind and respectful, showing love to her and our family.
