DES MOINES — The Iowa Supreme Court has denied convicted murderer Terry Cobbins' application for further review.
Cobbins was convicted of first-degree murder in the death of Teresa Louise Miller inside her home south of Knoxville in January 2011. He was hired by Teresa Miller's husband, Michael Jamey Miller, to kill her. Michael Jamey Miller was also convicted of first-degree murder. Cobbins and Michael Jamey Miller are currently serving life sentences.
The Iowa Court of Appeals has upheld the juries' verdicts in both cases. The Iowa Supreme Court has now rejected both men's applications for further review. Miller's request was denied March 4.
