WASHINGTON, D.C. — The forecast for the next three months includes drought, but less of it in Iowa.

The central, south central and southwestern parts of the nation are expected to see drought conditions. But that's expected to ease in the Midwest. But Iowa is forecast to see warmer than average conditions.

The temperatures and the drought are linked to some degree. Experts say areas that are in drought often see above average temperatures.
