CENTERVILLE — HCI Care Services has been selected as one of Iowa’s Top Workplaces, as announced in Sunday’s Des Moines Register. The Top Workplaces are determined based solely on employee feedback. The survey is conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a leading research firm on organizational health and employee engagement.

“Our employees enjoy working for our organization for many different reasons, but they all share a passion for making a difference in the lives of those we serve,” said Terry Terrones, local HCI Care Services team director.

Terrones cited a flexible work environment, great organizational culture and professional development opportunities as other perks contributing to HCI Care Services’ selection as a Top Workplace.  The Top Workplace recognition follows another prestigious honor the organization received earlier this year.  Last spring, HCI Care Services, a community partner of Visiting Nurse Services of Iowa, was one of four organizations to receive the Better Business Bureau’s 2012 Integrity Award.

For 34 years, HCI Care Services (formerly known as Hospice of Central Iowa) has provided comfort, dignity, and peace of mind for those facing serious illnesses. As an independent, not-for-profit organization, HCI Care Services is committed to providing excellent hospice, palliative and private in-home care to patients and compassionate support for their families in 35 counties, whether they live at home, in assisted living facilities, in nursing care facilities, hospitals or its residential hospice facilities, the Kavanagh Houses. HCI Care Services is a proud partner of Visiting Nurse Services of Iowa.
