KTVO weather forecaster to speak at Rotary meeting

— Gabe Petti of KTVO, cable Channel 3, Kirksville-Ottumwa ABC affiliate, will be the program speaker at the regular Rotary Club meeting on May 14 at the Manhattan Steakhouse at noon.
Petti has been associated with KTVO since 1994 and is chief weather forecaster at 5, 6 and 10 p.m. His weather reports are pertinent for the Centerville area, which is approximately midway between Kirksville and Ottumwa. KTVO is sponsoring his visit to Centerville.
At the meeting, he will be presenting his views on “Global Warming - Fact or Fiction?” based on his years of weather observation and forecasting, which should be of interest to everyone at the present time.
Although the meeting and program are for Rotary members, anyone who is interested in attending this special program may contact any Rotary member to make arrangements to attend as a guest.
Dick Dietzman is Rotary president of the Centerville club, which is active in many civic projects, meets each Wednesday at the Manhattan for lunch, business meeting and an informative program.
