(Video) Tuesday in Centerville during snow storm

CENTERVILLE — Centerville and much of southeastern Iowa was overtaken by massive amount of snow Tuesday morning and afternoon. Up to eight inches was reported in the county.

Roads were completely covered and schools and many businesses were canceled due to the snow fall.

The system made a larger shift to the north than the National Weather Service's first models account for, which bumped snow totals up from the original 1-3 inch forecast mark.
