CENTERVILLE — Congressman Dave Loebsack will visit Centerville businesses Saturday, May 15 and meet with owners to discuss his work to help small businesses and spur economic development. Loebsack will also listen to local business leaders, gathering their input on ways to help create jobs in the area.

Centerville High School will remain closed until the building is ready for occupants, a press release from the Centerville Community School District superintendent Anthony Ryan says. However, students in preschool through eighth grade will be returning to school on Monday as regularly scheduled.
Crews will clean building throughout weekend
Cleaning crews arrived on the scene at Centerville High School on Friday, and will continue to be on the scene through the weekend to clean the high school after Thursday's fire, according to a letter from Centerville Schools Superintendent Tony Ryan posted on the school district's website and submitted to the Daily Iowegian.
