CENTERVILLE — By the order of Centerville Mayor Jan Spurgeon the Centerville Police Department has enacted the Snow Emergency Ordinance. The ordinance will remain in effect until Sunday, Feb. 2. During this time there will be no vehicle parking on any street within the city limits between the hours of 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. This includes the square and all side streets for a one block radius. Vehicles found parked on the city streets during the above mentioned hours will be subject to a citation and/or being towed at the owner’s expense.
Mayor Spurgeon asks that all citizens abide by the ordinance which will assist the Street Department in clearing the streets. In the event of an emergency you are urged to contact 911 for assistance. For power, telephone or cable outages citizens should contact their service provider directly.
