10:46 p.m. An accident was reported on Highway 5. Sarah Amy Sconzo, 29, of Centerville, was driving a 2005 Chevrolet south in the 18000 block of Highway 5 when a deer entered the road and was struck. There was an estimated $1,500 in damage to Sconzo’s vehicle.

Corydon Police investigated a property damage accident at English and DeKalb Streets in Corydon. A 2003 Ford Taurus driven by Alexis Lynn Harbaugh, 17 or Seymour, was eastbound on English Street when it slid on the snow-packed street and struck a railroad crossing signal. Damage to Harbaugh's car was estimated at $5,000. Damage to the crossing signal owned by Union Pacific Railroad was listed at $2,500.
Corydon Police arrested Terry Linn Wright, 44 of Corydon, following an incident at a Corydon residence. Wright was charged with domestic abuse assault and assault. Wright appeared before the magistrate the following day and was released on his own recognizance.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office arrested Jacob Tyler Clark, 25, of Russell, following a traffic stop on Highway 14 near Payton Road. Clark was charged with operating while intoxicated and failure to show proof of insurance. Clark appeared before the magistrate later in the day and was released after posting $1,000 bond.
