Farewell to long-time Centerville postmaster and well-known Civil War re-enactor

The community of Centerville said farewell to Robert Clark, 84, who passed away Friday, Feb. 15. Robert was well-known as the Centerville postmaster from 1968 up to 1989 when he retired. Robert was also well-known as a Civil War re-enactor. Robert's son, Bruce, and many others dressed in their Civil War clothing Tuesday as Robert's flag-draped coffin was taken to Felkner Cemetery by mule team.

The Iowegian wants readers to think about building code compliance.
