Jacob Ahee, a naturalist at Honey Creek Resort State Park, stands next a "nano wall." The glass panel unfolds to enclose the black stone floor. Once closed, sunlight enters the area, heats the stone floor and the hot air rises up and out through vents located near the ceiling. The air enters the main living area and heats the house. Cooler air is then circulated back into the nano room through vents located near the floor.
