On Sunday, Dec. 2 the Exline Ramblers met at Walmart to shop for their adopted family. The Ramblers purchased gifts that were paid by the Exline Ramblers for three children and a ham for the family. They also made a tied blanket for the grandmother that was themed with bears, “Wishing them a Berry Merry Christmas.” The Ramblers then went to the Faith United Methodist Church where the family was invited to come and unwrap their gifts and enjoy a pasta dinner with the Ramblers. The Ramblers wrapped up with a short meeting and also prepared a breast cancer theme basket to be donated for the silent auction for the awards banquet. The Ramblers cleaned up the church and adjourned the meeting. Special thanks to the Faith United Methodist Church for allowing us to use their facilities.
The Exline Ramblers in January met at the Exline Community Center. The Exline Ramblers started the meeting with presentations from juniors and intermediates, Taylor Brauman, Lee Benz, Colton Cowan, Conager Logston and Makenzie Fogle. The Ramblers then talked about the February meeting which is going to be a bowling party. The date was changed to Feb. 24 at 1 p.m. The meeting was then adjourned.
