Landowners and operators with CRP land are invited to attend an information/training session on CRP Mid Contract Management on Thursday, March 21 from 9-10:30 a.m. at the ISU Extension meeting room in Centerville. Kevin Andersen, DNR wildlife biologist, will go over the benefits of each type of MCM, discuss how you should do MCM, and answer any questions you may have. FSA and NRCS staff will also be available to provide information and answer questions.
Mid Contract Management is the single most important management activity you can do to revitalize old CRP stands, improve wildlife habitat and improve plant diversity on your land. Come learn how to be successful with Mid Contract Management.
This meeting is sponsored by the Appanoose Soil and Water Conservation District. RSVP to NRCS by Wednesday, March 20 by calling (641) 856-3893, ext. 3.
