The Franklin Farmhands 4-H Club was called to order by Cendra Sebolt at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 28 for their regular meeting.
The pledge to the American Flag was led by Brett Bauman.
Demonstrations were given by Nick and Nadia Howell on the USDA servings and how to make a smoothie with different fruits and vegetables, a sample was made for everyone to enjoy.
Ashtin and Dugan Glenn gave a demonstration on how to make slime.
Morgan Keller gave a demonstration on how to make lip balm.
The newsletter was read and discussed some items of interest were the beef weigh in held Dec. 14-15 at the Appanoose County Fairgrounds.
It was decided not to do a basket for the awards banquet.
Online enrollment needs to be completed for those who have not signed up yet.
The Christmas party and meeting for December was held on Sunday, Dec. 16 from 4-7 p.m. at the Adams Bowling Alley in Centerville. A canned food drive was held to be donated to the Lord’s Cupboard in Seymour.
The pledge to the 4-H flag was led by Colton McGill.
Refreshments were served by Howells, Glenns and Kellers.
