---- — The Franklin Farmhands met on Nov. 20 for their regular meeting and election of officers. New members to the club were Zoe Joiner and John Merritt.
Some things that were discussed were beef weigh in on Dec. 14 at the fairgrounds.
Jan. 11 is the 4-H banquet beginning at 6 p.m. Our club is doing a first aid basket so everyone needs to bring an item to the next meeting to donate.
The Washington Citizen Focus trip will be in June.
Demonstrations were given by Justin and Joshua Brown on winter driving safety. Ashtynn and Dugun Glenn gave a demonstration on how to make a T-shirt bag. Morgan and Madison Keller gave a talk on 4-H history.
After demonstrations an election of officers was held. President is Cendra Sebolt, vice president is Wyatt Heesch, secretary is Nick Howell, treasurer is Hannah Hinners, reporter is Paige Heesch and historian is Dugun Glenn.
The pledge to the 4-H flag was led by Nadia Howell and the pledge to the American flag was led by Nick Howell.
Our next meeting will be Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 7:30 p.m.
After the meeting refreshments were served by the Browns, Glenns and Kellers.
